I draw from different modalities to gain a holistic understanding of you and to meet your best needs, using modern psychodynamic approaches, Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapies (DBT) and art therapy. Sydney Bota Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Sydney is a graduate of Western University’s MA in Counselling Psychology program. She is currently a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Empathy and compassion are central to Sydney’s therapeutic practice. She has supported clients with diverse backgrounds, experiencing various challenges such as anxiety (e.g., general, work/school related, social), depression, life transitions, body-image and self confidence related concerns, grief and trauma. Sydney believes in a client-centred, collaborative approach to counselling, meeting clients where they are at and empowering them to live aligned with what they value and desire for themselves.
